Scholarship Overview
The EAC Scholarship Programme invites suitably qualified East African Community nationals to apply for fully funded two-year Master's scholarships in eligible programmes across Mathematics, Engineering, Informatics, Science, Technology and Business Science. Applicants must study in an EAC Partner State other than their country of citizenship.
Eligibility
Applicant must be a citizen of an EAC Partner State, be below 35 years of age at the time of application, apply to study in an EAC Partner State other than their country of citizenship, possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least Second Class Upper Division, Distinction or equivalent, have applied for admission to an eligible Master's programme, and submit a complete scholarship application within the stipulated application period.
Application Process
Review the call and select an eligible programme and university. 2. Visit the university website and review the admission process. 3. Apply for admission to the selected university and indicate your intention to apply for the EAC Scholarship Programme. 4. Complete the online EAC Scholarship Application Form. 5. Review the Supporting Documents Checklist. 6. Compile all required supporting documents and name them using the prescribed document codes. 7. Compress the supporting documents into a single zipped folder and submit them by email to the designated scholarship addresses.
Supporting Documents
National ID or Passport; Passport Photograph; Proof of University Admission/Application; Bachelor's Degree Certificate and Transcript; Curriculum Vitae; Bank Statements (last six months, where applicable); Academic Reference Letter; Professional Reference Letter; and other supporting evidence listed in the official call.
Important Notes
Only complete applications for eligible programmes submitted before the deadline and in English will be considered. Applicants must complete both the university admission process and the separate EAC Scholarship Programme application. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. Submission does not guarantee a scholarship award
